Registered Nurse – Community Care | Rockhampton 

We offer an opportunity for a passionate and flexible Registered Nurse to deliver holistic, community-based care to clients across Rockhampton. This Part time role supports individuals living independently by providing high-quality nursing services within a person-centered, resilient-based framework.

Since our establishment in 1970 on the Sunshine Coast, our services have expanded to include centers across north Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, the Wide Bay and Burnett regions, and Central Queensland—covering an area of over 37,000 km². 
With a dedicated team of over 650 staff and more than 175 volunteers, we provide direct support to help individuals live independently at home while staying active, healthy, and connected within their communities. 
  
What You’ll Do: 

  • Deliver clinical care including assessments, wound care, medication management, continence support, and health education 
  • Work autonomously in the community with strong support from a collaborative team 
  • Coordinate services and refer clients to appropriate community resources 
  • Monitor client care plans and ensure ongoing quality and compliance 
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and clinical reporting 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration 
  • Experience in aged care, disability, or community health 
  • First Aid & CPR certification 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain) 
  • Strong communication, time management, and computer skills 
  • Current QLD Driver’s License and own insured vehicle

Salary  

  • Pay Point 1: $44.21 – $45.96 (first 3 years of employment at this level) 
  • Pay Point 2: $48.63 – $50.56 (after 3 years of employment at this level)
